Universal Geneve ‘Nina Rindt’ Ref 885105/02

The Rare Pulsation Scale Bezel UG Chrono

This is a very rare( believed that only around 200 were produced) and desirable chronograph that was acquired from the original owners Son. This cool 70s UG chrono gets its nickname from the model Nina Rindt. Nina was married to Jochen Rindt who was a famous formula-1 racing driver. The 36mm case features twisted lugs and is in outstanding original condition. The white dial is in crisp, bright condition with fantastic patina on the lume dots at the hour markers. The hands remain in excellent condition too. The rare pulsation bezel is in beautiful condition with a nice gentle patina. The watch will come on its original US-market bracelet made by JB Champion for Universal Geneve with a Ug signed clasp. The endlinks do not match- one has been replaced at some point, but we wanted to keep the watch as we found it ! The caseback has a memorial caseback engraving, which we believe adds to the magic of this original owner piece. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
