Tudor Submariner Ref 7928 Gilt Minute Track


A glossy finish is a winner…

If you are looking for the classic no date Tudor Submariner, then the reference 7928 is a great place to start. Tudor introduced the reference in 1959 and it enjoyed almost ten years in the catalogue and was issued to military forces around the world, due to its quality and accessible price point. Over the past decade collectors have become enamored with the brand and the Submariners have become highly prized. On offer today is a stunning example od a late series 7928 with full glossy dial with silver print and a gilt minute track and ‘T SWISS T’ text. The lume has turned a rich cream colour and is a good match with the hands. The case remains super strong with strong lugs. The fat font bezel insert is in original condition and has aged to a dark blue colour. The lume pip is a later replacement. The watch is fitted with a reference 6636 stretch rivet Rolex Oyster bracelet with a clasp stamped ‘4 66’ and reference 80 endlinks. The Tudor cal 390 movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
