The Inside Story
This is a very cool original owner Tudor Submariner with a VERY cool story ! You can read it here! The watch was originally bought by Carlo Rodriguez, who had the case back engraved with the name of his famous Italian ship building business “L Rodgriguez Cantieri Navale Messina”. The engraving is still in great condition and is a super cool feature of this watch and the key to its secret!
The silver printing on the dial is in great condition with the beautiful gilt chapter ring and T SWISS T on the edge of the dial. The lume has gently aged on the hour plots and the hands, with a slightly different lume colour in a portion of the hour hand. The case remains strong in all areas with signs of the original factory lines. The bezel insert has some cool patina and some slight fading. The watch is fitted with a folded link Oyster bracelet reference 9315 with reference 280 endlinks. The Tudor calibre 390 movement has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.

We offer a one-year warranty on the mechanical function of the watch, starting from the day of purchase. We do not guarantee the waterproof nature of any (vintage) watch, unless expressly made in writing. Therefore, our warranty will not cover any damage done to the case and/or movement by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not apply to accidental damage or mishandling of your watch and does not extend to the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
