TUDOR MN SNOWFLAKE 1977 MARINE NATIONALE
This stunning example of a military Tudor Submariner reference 94010 was bought from the original owner with images of extracts from his MN Dive Log and letter of provenance. To make this package even more desirable, the watch actually appears in both MN Service Ledgers books and we will provide images of these. The original dial, hands and bezel are in beautiful condition and the case is in its original unrestored configuration.
This is a very special watch and this is a rare opportunity to acquire a piece of military horological history. The letter of provenance makes fascinating reading. “I was posted to the French Navy diving school at Saint-Mandrier, south of France, in 1991. The equipment manager gave me this Tudor MN’77 Snowflake Submariner watch…it had been used in hundreds of dives, in both warm and icy waters. It accompanied me on operations in conflict areas, such as security operations and humanitarian missions as part of the United Nations intervention in Somalia in 1993”.

The buyer will of course receive pictures with the serial number shown!
The diver was wearing the watch on a (non Rolex) Jubilee bracelet the last years. This bracelet will come with the watch.
