Recent times have seen a significant rise in interest in the post-1988 Perpetual Daytonas, especially early rare variants. Today we are offering one of the coolest and most sought after, the Mk2 Four-Liner dial that appeared in watches for a short period at the end of 1988 and early 1989.
Read our Spot On here. This watch houses the perfect condition Mk2 dial in black all the text remaining crisp and a flawless dial finish, a very rare feature on black Daytona dials of these years! The watch is also fitted with the incredibly rare and elusive Mk2 ‘225’ bezel in outstanding condition. This bezel and dial together are the ultimate dynamic duo! The case remains in outstanding condition too, with sharp lines and thick lugs and crown guards. The original solid link Oyster bracelet, ref 78360, is in good condition with a clasp stamped ‘I 6’, 503b endlinks and is correctly matte finished on all links. The watch houses a correct early movement number Calibre 4030 mechanism that has been fully serviced by our watchmaker. This is a very special Daytona for the discerning collector!
