Omega Speedmaster 105.012 - 66

This is a great opportunity to acquire a rare example of the iconic Speedmaster in fabulous condition. In fact, it was this reference that is the only version to have been confirmed as landing on the moon. The reference 105.012 was the first Speedy to feature the text ‘PROFESSIONAL’ on the dial and also the first reference to feature asymmetrical lugs. The original ‘dot over 90’ insert is present. The case is very strong and the dial is in beautiful condition with the hour plots and correct baton hands having taken on a nice creamy patina. The case is the HF version (see below). The bracelet is in very good condition and the clasp is marked ‘1/69’. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker. The watch comes with a Omega Exctract, dating delivery in 1967 and we will include a Bulang and Sons leather strap of your choice in the deal. *
