Jaeger Lecoultre Memovox Ref E873 Speed Beat

The 70s Style Alarm..

This is a very cool and unusual version of the JLC Memovox alarm watch that just screams 1970s cool! The word ‘Memovox’ was invented by Jaeger Le Coultre and is actually an amalgamation of two latin words. Memor, which means remembering and Vox, which means voice.
The very 70s-era style case measures 39mm and has two, original, JLC crowns. As with the whole watch, the dial is in great and original condition, with a cool blue soleil outer and inner dial that are sectioned with striking orange concentric circles. The inner dial is used to set the alarm function, which is wound by using the crown at two o’clock. The crown at four is used to wind the time movement and set the hour and minute hands. The watch comes on a Bulang and Sons strap and has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
