There was a time when the early Bubbleback watches were the hottest Rolex watches on the planet, with collectors paying huge sums for these small, yet perfectly formed watches. Over the last couple of years interest has finally returned to these mighty yet diminutive Oysters. This is a reference 3131 that, very importantly, retains its all-original dial in excellent condition. Just check those radium Arabic hours!
The example we are offering today remains in outstanding condition with a strong steel case with characteristic domed case back. The two-piece case has lug holes on only one side. The dial is totally original and is designated CHRONOMETER and has painted radium Arabic numerals and central secondhand .
The pencil hands still have the radium lume in and the screw-down crown is the original Brevet ‘+’ style. The watch is fitted with the pictured leather strap and the movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.

Our Warranty
We offer a one-year warranty on the mechanical function of the watch, starting from the day of purchase. We do not guarantee the waterproof nature of any (vintage) watch, unless expressly made in writing. Therefore, our warranty will not cover any damage done to the case and/or movement by water or moisture entering the watch. Our warranty does not apply to accidental damage or mishandling of your watch and does not extend to the bracelet, case parts (including pushers, winding stem, crown and bezel), watch glass, dial and hands.
