I purchased the One Piece Nato Brown Lumberjack strap to use on a number of my watches, including a vintage Tudor Snowflake Submariner. I liked the idea of a single-pass strap in leather. This is my third strap from Bulang and Sons and I have enjoyed the other two, which lead me to purchase this one.
I must admit that at first I wasn't sure about the strap. The keeper is very rigid at first, and there is a pad under the keeper that is also very rigid. Initially, this didn't feel right or comfortable to me. I originally planned to return the strap due to this (more about that below). But I was told by the Bulang and Sons customer support team that the strap would soften with time, and that has been the case. I did some pretty aggressive manipulation of the keeper and pad (ie. lots of kneading it with my hands) in order to hasten the softening process. I have now gotten to the point where it is comfortable to wear, and I am enjoying it.
One word of caution - if you order one of these, you need to decide immediately, before wearing it, whether you like it. Once worn, you will not be able to return it. In my case, this worked out OK since it turns out I do like it. Make sure you make that assessment for yourself.
All in all, it is a very nice strap, with good quality leather, that looks and wears differently than all those "regular" two-piece straps you have in your drawer. It takes some getting used to, but I think it is worth it in the end.
