Breitling Navitimer 1806 Iraqi Air Force
The Breitling Navitimer reference 1806 is a serious watch with a large presence on the wrist, thanks to its 48mm steel case. Known by its nickname ‘fried egg’ by collectors, due to its considerable size, the watch screams 70s cool with its bright orange accents on the signature slide rule navigation computer dial that was so useful for pilots. These 1806s were fitted with the calibre 11 automatic movement and feature the chronograph pushers on the right side of the case and the winding crown on the left. This cool tool watch was actually issued to the Iraqi Air Force and we can only imagine some of the stories it could tell!
We have selected a number of 22mm straps that we believe perfectly suit this watch for whatever occasion or mood for which you choose to wear it. Whether it’s a military-esque nylon nato strap, elegant slim leather buckle strap or vintage leather strap – there is a strap that will make this issued pilot’s watch rock!
